Meet The Pharmacist!

Thanks for hopping over to meet the pharmacist...

Hi there and welcome to my "About Me" page! My name is I.J. and yes, I'm a real pharmacist (druggist, apothecary, legal drug pusher, pill counter, big pharma lackey, pill pusher... I've been called them all)... I earned my Pharm.D (Doctor of Pharmacy) degree and I very much enjoy doing what I do... and that's why I built this site.

I enjoy sharing drug information but there's just so much of it out there so I decided to tackle one little corner of the drug world that I know, from personal experience, is of great interest (and benefit) to lots of people - Drug Side Effects!

I'm a licensed practicing clinical pharmacist with experience in HMOs, managed care organizations, retail, community and hospital pharmacies (both inpatient and outpatient) as well as both the pharmaceutical and technology industries. I've been there, done that and just about seen it all... and yes, I still enjoy it!

I'm very open to receiving and answering your questions, and whilst I can't answer just any question (in particular, the ones that are too specific to your own personal health) because, well... I don't know you on that level, and thus doing so would be unwise. Those types of questions are best left to your personal healthcare provider(s). What I can respond to however are questions of a more general nature. Fair enough? Great!

So why build a website? Well, it's just my way of sharing my expertise with a larger and wider audience without the time constraints, etc. that are normally present in the typical workplace.
