Common Adverse Drug Effects
There are some adverse drug effects that tend to occur quite frequently with a number of different medications. These are those side effects that seem to plague just about every medication known to man. For the most part as you navigate this site you will just see a listing of the associated drug side effects. However, I thought it might be helpful to site visitors to be able to read up a little bit more about those more common side effects. The reason for doing is for you to be able to get a quick glimpse of what possible medications can cause these side effects. The "good" thing about these more common drug adverse effects is that usually, in most cases, they are minor and transient; more often than not, they usually will stop once you stop or discontinue the particular medication that is causing them. If however, they are interfering with your quality of life then by all means do let your healthcare provider know about what is happening. Sometimes switching to a similar medication in the same class may help to alleviate the side effect(s) you are experiencing; other times you may need to be switched to a medication that achieves the same purpose but belongs to an entirely different drug class. Some people are more prone to experiencing certain side effects than others.
